You all know exactly what was supposed to happen last weekend, and in some places, what did happen. Hurricane Joaquin whipped up the east coast and brought about utter chaos in everyday life, and pure madness in the wedding world! Photographers scrambled for clear umbrellas and planners designed plans b, c, and all the way to z to make sure their brides and grooms were happy, safe, and just as in love as they would have been on a sunny fall day. I think it’s safe to say that wedding vendors were checking their weather apps just as often as our couples must have been!

But in Boston, we saw overcast skies and strong winds but not a single drop of rain! I think it was Jen & Jason’s wedding day gift, their piece of karma for planning a wedding all the way from DC. It was no small feat and my goodness, they were gifted with a dry cloudy sky!

Jen & Jason are maybe my coolest clients with the absolute best group of friends and family! It was the most beautiful fall day celebrating their marriage and it was just a joy to capture! Enjoy some of my favorites from their wedding at the Taj Boston Hotel!
