When & Where is the next Working Retreat?
Round 2 of The Working Retreat will be held at a private home in The Outer Banks (Duck, North Carolina) from Monday, April 11 – Thursday, April 14!
What is included in registration?
The Working Retreat is totally all-inclusive! Registration includes lodging for all three nights, meals, snacks, and beverages for entirety of retreat, all four speakers and presentations, fresh head shots, styled desktop flats to push your visual brand, and an extraordinary collection of swag to take home! Just get there, love it, and let us spoil you!
When should I arrive/depart?
We’ll kick off The Working Retreat at 6pm on Monday, 4/11 and wrap up just after breakfast on Thursday, 4/14.
What is the cost?
For the first 48 hours of registration, the fee to reserve a seat at The Working Retreat is $775 (yes, payment plans are available!). Early bird tickets will be priced at $850 and tickets will cost $1000 starting October 10.
Do you have payment plans?
Absolutely! Our standard payment plan includes a 50% retainer fee and two equal payments due one and three months before TWR. During that time, you’ll have access to your online invoice and you’re welcome to create your own weekly/monthly alternative payment plan!
What is the schedule?
We really want our attendees to have the best of both the professional and personal worlds at TWR! We have a full schedule for both Tuesday and Wednesday that runs from about 8a-6p both days. For now, before we share allll the secrets, you can expect about 4-5 community office hours, breaks for meals/snacks, and those four amazing presentations all wrapped in!
What do I need to bring?
Just you, your mobile office (laptop, calligraphy set, camera & gear, etc.), and a few items that represent your brand to incorporate in your styled desktop flats. We’ll have everything else you need on site!
What should I wear?
Whatever your home office attire is! For most of us, that means yoga pants, tshirts, and messy pony tails! For your headshot session, feel free to bring whatever outfit/s make you feel most gorgeous!
How many people will be there?
Between the speakers, staff, and attendees, we are expecting 16 creatives!
What if I have dietary or health restrictions?
Once you register, you will receive a questionnaire to fill our that gives us more information about any dietary or health restrictions you have. We want you to feel 100% comfortable, so please be as specific as possible!! If you have further questions or concerns, please email us.
What if I have to cancel?
Once your ticket is purchased, it cannot be refunded. However, we will attempt to find a creative to replace you but cannot guarantee success.

Can I attend just one day of the TWR?
At this time, seats are only available for creatives that can commit to the full retreat. Due to the intimate nature of our event and location, we feel it will be most beneficial, personally and professionally, for our attendees to have all four days to build and enjoy relationships fully.
Do I need to work in the wedding industry?
Of course not! As long as you are creative, own your own small business, and are just as in love with your girlfriends and professional friends as we are, you are more than welcome!
