Weekend Wrap Up

A Double Header and More Foliage... Obviously

What a whirlwind of a weekend! I’m constantly surprised how late in the calendar year it is each and every time I open my Simplified Planner! I’ve been looking forward to this weekend and I’m excited to say I survived (and loved!) my first double header wedding weekend. This business of mine has really started to pick up momentum these past few weeks and I’m so excited to have this weekend under my belt in preparation for 2015!

Kristie & Zak’s Engagement Session

I met up with Kristie and Zak (and their sweet pup, Beau) on Friday evening at Endicott Park for their engagement session. After last weekend’s fall mini sessions, I was so looking forward to how the foliage would look. Endicott always has the most fiery and vibrant leaves around! After a quick walk around the pond, we made our way to my new favorite spot, the Swampwalk on the Rail Trail in Danvers. As we drove by the Danvers reservoir, we couldn’t help but stop because LOOK at that sunset! They were so sweet together and I loved having a little time to get to know them better. Congratulations, guys!

Katie & Nate’s Wedding

As Jess and I made our way down to the Hale Reservation in Westwood on Saturday afternoon, we were greeted by the sweetest homemade wooden signs with fresh sunflowers pointing us in the right direction. Katie and Nate’s intimate wedding was one full of joy, excitement, and delicious BBQ! These two celebrated at a beautiful log cabin in the woods surrounded by the most fun group of friends and family! We were so lucky that the rain stopped just in time for their first look and portraits! An overcast sky and wading through the lake in my wellies… it was such a fun afternoon!

Jen & Doug’s Wedding

Oh my gosh… Ever since meeting Jen and Doug last fall, I’ve been waiting so impatiently for their wedding day! They share a love that inspires everyone around them and I was so grateful to photograph their day and witness them exchange vows so joyfully! Their wedding at the beautiful Sacred Heart Church was the perfect blend of two families and cultures. Congratulations, Ryans!
