Being asked to photograph a wedding is one of the greatest honors I’ve ever experienced. Each and every one of my couples holds a place in my heart for inviting me to share in celebrating their marriage with them, but when a photographer asks you.. now that’s really something :) Samantha is a portrait photographer in New Hampshire and she photographs some of the cutest little ones! I just knew that this whole experience with her and Shane would be a memorable one and the locations they chose for their engagement session were right on target!

We started our evening at the Trident Booksellers on Newbury Street in Boston, then made our way to Brattle Book Shop near the common. We got there after it had closed and I’m already dying to go back to rummage through the racks on a sunny day! And of course, you can’t be near the esplanade at sunset without visiting the docks and gazing at the sailboats. It was the perfect recipe for Sam & Shane’s session and it made me so excited to photograph their wedding this October in York, Maine!
