Back in November (oh my gosh.. already two months ago?!), I met with Marina and Joe at her mother’s home on Long Beach in Rockport, MA. It was one of the more mild days we saw in late fall and it was the absolute perfect day for her maternity session!

When Marina first emailed me, we talked quite a bit about the kind of session I’d be shooting for her. I told her I’d realized the way I wanted to photograph motherhood. I saw it more as a relationship than a time in her life. I wanted to capture the intimacy between her and Joe and her and her baby and I wanted to do it in a very simple way. It was the most beautiful maternity session I’ve ever photographed and I left feeling so full of joy!
