Oh, Tara and Calvin. Where do I even begin?
After our very first conversation about their wedding, I immediately felt that “oh my gosh, I have to have them as clients” feeling. If you’re a photographer, you know exactly what I’m talking about. It’s the strong urge to want to photograph the couple you just met because they’re perfect for you. They are sweet and in love, their details will be beautiful, their guests sound engaging, and their venue and location are killer. Those were some of the things I was thrilled about and thankful for when Tara and Calvin asked me to photograph their day. They are, and their wedding will be, so stunning.
But before I get ahead of myself, let’s just talk for a second about their engagement session which became a new favorite the second I saw the images on my computer screen. It was the most amazing winter shoot. Flecks of snow lighting up in the air, adorable plaid shirts, winter hats that make me jealous they don’t look good on me, delicious Starbucks drinks. All of the cute winter things that belong at a shoot were at theirs. So. Much. Fun.
Congratulations, Tara and Calvin! April really can’t come soon enough!
I am so honored to have had this Charming Christmas Tree Farm Engagement Session featured on Heart Love Always!
