At some point during my clients’ engagement, I always tell them that I pray for gray skies on their wedding day. Dry, preferably, but I’ll take gray any way I can get it! I remember standing in the Ocean Room at Misselwood, the same room we’d hear Jamaican steel drum notes playing from during the ceremony, with a few of Kayla’s bridesmaids as they checked the radar on their cell phones. It seemed like the forecast was changing by the minute but it looked like the rain would breeze right by without touching us. We realized during the ceremony as umbrellas slowly starting popping up above guests that the forecast had been wrong, but the quiet intimacy it brought for their vows was magical!
Kayla & Bryce are a couple that exude joy & passion and when I look back on my weddings from last year, their love for each other is always top of mind!
